The 2024 student art show at SUNY Orange marks a milestone. This year celebrates the 20^th anniversary of the annual show which showcases the artworks produced by students throughout the academic year on SUNY Orange’s two campuses.

Emerging Visions is on view April 1 through April 26 in Orange Hall Gallery where the hours are 8am to 8pm, Monday through Thursday and 8am to 5pm on Friday, plus weekend days, April 5, 6, 12, 13 - from 7 to 9pm and April 7 & 14 - from 2 to 5pm. A sneak-peak is to be had on Friday, March 29 from 5 to 7pm.

Join us at the Art Reception: April 2, from 2 to 4pm. Meet the artists, speak to the professors, partake of refreshments, and enjoy the music played by alumnus Darius Beckford, pianist.

The show highlights the visual arts and demonstrates the multifaceted course offerings: painting, color, photography, drawing, design, and graphic art. In addition, theatre arts is displaying photographs, costumes and props from this year’s plays. Artworks include still lifes, figure drawings, land and seascapes, collages, portraits, commercial art, and abstract pieces. The student show is displayed on the main floor.

Additionally, art faculty is exhibiting recent works in Orange Hall Gallery Loft.
