SUNY Orange's Testing Center is operated by the Continuing and Professional Education (CAPE) department which provides testing and exam services to SUNY Orange students and other community members.

Location
Testing takes place in the Student Success Center - Room 225 at the George F. Shepard Student Center, on the Middletown Campus. The Continuing and Professional Education office is in the Christine Morrison house. Click here for map and directions:

Registration and Payment
Test takers must contact the CAPE office to register for an exam and schedule a time. Please note that times are limited, so do not wait until the last minute to schedule. Distance learning and online students from other schools who wish to test at SUNY Orange's Testing Center must first contact their home institution before registering.
Exam fees vary. Please contact the CAPE office for more information.
Registration can be completed over the phone or in person at the CAPE office on the Middletown campus, Monday through Friday during regular business hours. Payment is due at time of registration. You can pay your testing fees by money order, MasterCard, Visa, or Discover. If you are using a charge card, you must provide card number and expiration date, test taker's name, cardholder's name (if different from test taker's), and cardholder's zip code. Test takers who wish to pay by money order must register and pay in person at the CAPE office.

Information for Students With Disabilities
Reasonable accommodations are available for test takers with documented disabilities. Students are responsible for notifying the Testing Center of their need for a testing accommodation when scheduling an appointment to test. Please contact us at least two weeks in advance of your preferred test date to schedule your exam.
SUNY Orange students requiring accommodations must be registered with the Office of Disability Services (ODS). ODS can be reached at:

Students who are not currently registered with ODS must schedule an intake appointment and provide current documentation of disability. Please visit http://sunyorange.edu/ods/ for a list of documentation requirements. Accommodation requests need to be made to ODS at least two weeks in advance. Please note that the Testing Center cannot provide accommodations for SUNY Orange students without an official accommodation letter.

Refunds
Exam dates cannot be rescheduled, and all exam fees are non-refundable. If you miss your scheduled exam, your payment will be forfeited.

College Closings & Delays
College closings and delays alerts are published at http://www.sunyorange.edu/alert
When the College is closed or delayed during your test appointment, do not report to the Testing Center. When the College reopens, staff will contact you to reschedule.
