The Science and Engineering faculty at Orange will work together to be one of New York state's premier A.S. Degree Programs in Science/Engineering in providing a caring and challenging learning environment which both encourages and enables students to succeed.
Mission Statement
The mission of the Department of Science, Engineering and Architecture is to provide excellent instruction, support and advising to all students. The instruction will be provided by a dedicated and highly qualified group of faculty across the entire campus. The primary concerns of our faculty will be the continued success of the student and the integrity of instruction. At Orange all classes, recitations, laboratory sessions will be taught by professors (there are no graduate assistant student instructors at Orange.) The mission of every member of this department is to be available to the student and to be dedicated to the student's success.
