Retirement
As a full-time employee you must become a participating member of the New York State Employees' Retirement System. This program is designed to provide you with a retirement benefit as early as age 55.
Three percent of your gross base pay each pay period will be deducted and applied as your contribution to the program.
You can also designate an additional amount of your gross pay to be placed in a supplemental retirement account (SRA).
