Citations for your assignments

You can get help making your citations for your assignments at the library.

  1. If you got your article from the library's databases use the database's citation tool to generate the correct format in MLA, APA, AMA or Chicago. Just copy and paste the citation into your paper. Then check it to make sure
  2. A librarian can show you tools and guides you can use to check that your citations are in the right format.
  3. If you are having trouble with setting up margins, indents or line breaks the library staff can show you the way to get the citations into the correct format.

Citations can be confusing and often a little help will save you a lot of time. The librarians at either the Newburgh or Middletown campus library are at the ready, just walk up to the desk and ask us.
