Haiti & Jamaica: The Forgotten Giants of the Americas

In partnership with the Middletown School District, the College has scheduled a presentation titled 'Haiti & Jamaica: The Forgotten Giants of the Americas'. The presentation will be facilitated by Mr. Schadrac St. Louis, Guidance Counselor, and Mr. Norval Connell, Instructional Leader STEM Program. 

The presentation, originally scheduled for Feb. 22 but canceled due to snow, has been rescheduled for 3:30 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 15 in the Sandra and Alan Gerry Forum (Room 010, Rowley Center for Science and Engineering) in Middletown and will be live streamed to Room 307 of the Tower Building on the SUNY Orange Newburgh campus.

Admission is free and open to the public.

Additionally, throughout the month, the College will be featuring, on its social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram), relevant quotes from notable figures in African American history and current pop culture, as well as short written and video testimonials from members of the College community regarding the meaning of Black History Month to them.
