After two years of presenting small classroom exhibits, SUNY Orange Architectural Technology has installed a not-to-be-missed exhibit in Orange Hall Gallery Fringe, the long back wall and area. Entitled "Systems and Space III", the exhibit features student architectural work. The exhibit includes drawings and models of abstract architectural compositions, building designs, and urban proposals produced by students in the Architectural Technology program.
The display is being shown concurrently with the annual SUNY Orange Art students’ huge exhibit. The timeframe is April 4 - May 5, with gallery hours 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday. A reception during which SUNY Orange Music students will play, is scheduled for Tuesday, April 8 from 2 to 4 p.m.
"Systems and Space III" was organized, designed, and built by students Daniel Boland, Danielle Covington, Douglas Forschino, Matthew Lung, and Roman Zawojski with instructor Andrew Magnes and assistant professor Pamela Rice overseeing the project. Pro Build, a local lumber and building materials company, is the sponsor.
This great exhibit, which is free and open to the public, is presented in cooperation with Cultural Affairs to which questions may be directed, (845) 341-4891 and firstname.lastname@example.org. You may also visit the Cultural Affairs website at www.sunyorange.edu/culturalaffairs.
