The exhibit in Orange Hall Gallery Loft beginning May 9 is a photography show. Entitled The World in Monochrome, it is a solo show by Artur Charukhchyan.
The exhibit features photographs taken locally and around the world which have been digitally processed to achieve the desired monochromatic effect of shades of limited colors and hues.
Artur Charukhchyan is a self-taught photographer who enjoys taking scenic photographs of nature and architecture while traveling around the world. His work has been exhibited at SUNY Orange, at the 1650 Photography Gallery in Los Angeles, CA, and at the Historical Center of Montreal, Quebec. He lives in Middletown and works in the SUNY Orange Information & Technology Services Department. |
