SUNY Orange Search Process Open Forum Sessions Upcoming

The College's Diversity and Inclusion Plan calls for the College to review how we can better attract and retain a diverse faculty and staff.

Lorraine Lopez-Janove, Chief Diversity Officer and I will be holding focus groups to listen to ideas you may have to help diversify our staff. We will be looking at areas such as our recruiting process, including (but not limited to) our ad placements, search committee structure, and search committee applicant questions.

We will also go over where the college employee demographics are compared to our students and our local community, a look at our past three years and demographics of our applicants and the employee chosen from those applicants. We will also look at our campus culture so as to determine if we have the culture to maintain and support a diverse staff.

We welcome you to join us for a discussion and brain storming sessions on the following dates and times (all will take place in Morrison Music Room):

Tuesday October 30, 2018 at 3:00 pm

Thursday November 8th, 2018 at 2:00 pm
