Film Screening of Documentary "13th" Feb. 28 in Newburgh

In this thought-provoking doumentary, scholars, activists and politicians analyze the criminalization of African Americans and the US prison boom. Directed by Ava DuVernay, the film explores the 'interaction of race, justice, and mass incarceration in the United States".

The film will be shown in Kaplan Hall Room 201 at 3:30 p.m. with a discussion to follow.

The screening and discussion will be hosted by Inaudy Esposito, executive director of the Human Rights Commission of Orange County.
