Why Not Home: The Surprising Birth Choices of Doctors and Nurses

The SUNY Orange Nursing Club is offering a documentary screening and panel discussion to benefit the nursing class pinning ceremony.

Come see "Why Not Home: The Surprising Birth Choices of Doctors and Nurses" from 4 to 6 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 26 in Room 207 of the Bio-Tech Building on the Middletown campus. The documentary follows mainstream providers and explores the reasons why they decided to choose home birth for their own birth experience. Following the movie we will have a discussion panel consisting of midwives, nurses, mothers, and a father to answer questions and tell their own reasons for choosing home birth.

Admission is $3, SUNY Orange faculty is welcome to attend for free. The event is open to the public.
