E-Waste Collections During Earth Day Events at Both Campuses
Students, faculty, and staff are invited to bring their old or unneeded PERSONAL computers, monitors, laptops, notebooks, netbooks, tablets, e-readers, IPads, printers, peripherals, cell phones, smart phones, IPhones, and even coffee makers and microwaves to either the Middletown or Newburgh Earth Day event on Thursday April 27 (Middletown) and Friday April 21 (Newburgh). (No televisions can be accepted). All computers will be safely and securely wiped and ethically recycled.
Drop-off times and sites:
Newburgh: Friday, April 21, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., First Street Lobby, Kaplan Hall. If you have lots of E-waste and need help unloading your car, please park in the parking garage or on the street out front; then come to the lobby to request assistance. We have carts available to move items easily.
Middletown: Thursday, April 27, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., next to the E-waste container behind Student Shepard Center (Parking Lot #6). You’ll be able to drive up close to the container where Computer Club members and/or IT personnel will help you unload.
Please note: THIS COLLECTION IS FOR PERSONAL ITEMS ONLY – IT DOES NOT INCLUDE ITEMS THAT HAVE BEEN PURCHASED BY THE COLLEGE.
