Community Orchestra Concert Announced for May 6

"Everything is improved with music” is the theme of the SUNY Orange Community Orchestra’s spring concert on Saturday, May 6 at 7:30 p.m. at the historic Paramount Theatre.

The concert features music that has been used for films, TV, cartoons, pop culture, and even fireworks. This final concert of the orchestra’s 20th season features Rossini’s Overture to William Tell, Prokofiev’s Lieutenant Kijé’s Suite, Ravel’s Bolero, and Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture.  It is also Hilarie Clark Moore’s final concert as conductor of the orchestra.  General Admission is $10.  Active Military and SUNY Orange students with ID are free.
