2016 Nursing Reunion Cocktail Reception on Nov. 18

Graduates of SUNY Orange's Nursing program are invited to celebrate nearly 65 Years of Excellence in Nursing Education when the College hosts a nursing reunion at the Middletown campus on Friday, Nov. 18.

Keynote speaker will be Sharon Decker, associate dean for simulation, professor, School of Nursing at Texas Tech University Health Science Center. She will speak on "Interprofessional Simulation: Remembering and Envisioning" starting at 4 p.m. in the Alan and Sandra Gerry Forum of the Rowley Center for Science and Engineering.

Pat Slesinski '76, faculty emerita and former department chair of nursing, will offer an introduction and brief history of nursing education at SUNY Orange. The lecture is free and open to the public.

There will be a 5:30 p.m. tour of the Middletown campus Nursing Department (Bio-Tech Building).

The Nursing Reunion cocktail reception with heavy hors d’oeuvres will take place at 6:00 pm in Morrison Hall.

The reunion is hosted by the Department of Nursing and SUNY Orange Alumni Relations.
