Noreen Nagy to Discuss Investigating Death on Nov. 3

Are you interested in Forensics? Crime Scene Investigation? The departments of Criminal Justice and Diagnostic Imaging are hosting Noreen Nagy, Director of Investigations for the Orange County Medical Examiner's Office. Nagy will be presenting on Investigating Death. The OCME office is responsible for determining the cause of death, whether natural, accidental or intentional.

Nagy, director of investigations for the Orange County Medical Examiner’s office, will discuss fire-related fatalities as part of an overview on forensic investigations when she appears at SUNY Orange on Thursday, Nov. 3.

Nagy’s informative and fascinating lecture will be held at 11 a.m. in Room 207 of the Bio-Tech Building on the College’s Middletown campus. Her presentation will include images on forensic autopsy findings, including x-rays, as they relate to the scene and court proceedings.

Admission is free and the event is open to the general public. The lecture is sponsored by the College’s Criminal Justice and Diagnostic Imaging departments.
