Kids Chemistry Night at SUNY Orange is Nov. 4

This year's Kids Chemistry Night at SUNY Orange will feature the topic of "Solving Mysteries through Chemistry." It will be held on Friday, Nov. 4 in Room 212 of the Rowley Center for Science and Engineering on the Middletown campus.

As usual there will be hotdogs, chips, brownies and other bad things to eat before the event and then a short welcome / demonstration where I show the kids some interesting demonstrations some quiet some loud.  This is followed by the most important aspect of the evening where the kids go into the labs and run some experiments of their own.

Hotdogs and snacks will be served at 6 p.m., with demonstrations beginning at 7 p.m. Kids experiments will take place from 7:15 to 8 p.m.

There is limited seating, as we can only handle about 30 kids.  In the past, this event fills up early and people had to be turned away.  Don’t let this be you or your kids.  Reply early.
