SUNY Orange Choir Concert

The SUNY Orange Choir and The Madrigal Singers will present their annual winter concert on Sunday, Dec. 11 at 3 p.m. in Orange Hall Theatre.

The concert will include vocal ensemble music from many different genres. This season the groups will present works from and inspired by Broadway; a popular song from a recent film; several pieces from the global repertoire; sacred and secular holiday music including two movements from Handel’s Messiah; and one movement from a brand new (2016!) jazz-inspired oratorio praising Mother Earth.

Selections will be directed by Caroline Tippin and accompanied by pianist Joel Flowers.

This concert is free to the public with a suggested donation of $5 to be used for scholarships, guest artists and ethnic instruments.  Plan an afternoon of music to celebrate the start of your holiday season!
