SUNY Orange Jazz Ensemble Concert

The SUNY Orange Jazz Ensemble will present its annual fall concert on Thursday, Dec. 1 at 11 a.m. and Friday, Dec. 2 at 7 p.m. Anyone who loves and appreciates good music will revel in the inspired and skillful improvisational expressions of our young musicians. All are welcome.

The program includes pieces from the jazz tradition such as Watermelon Man, Nica’s Dream, and Milestones as well as standards such as Good Morning Heartache and Fly Me to the Moon.  

The featured performers include Gladys Calzada, Chavree Donovan, Lynne Perkins, Orlando Vasquez, and Kyle Whitton (vocals), Chris Leon (flute), Andrew Harrison, Owen Moore, and Dan Nuñez (saxophones), Vince Bellorofonte, Larry Clemente, Greg Johnson, and Byran Pitts (guitar), Manny Carrasquillo and Hailey Boelens (piano, keyboards), Malcolm Forrest and Ian Rothstein (bass) and Ethan Boyd, Matt Kopek, and Brian Otero, (drums, vibraphone, and percussion). 

Admission is free. For more information, please contact the Arts and Communication office at (845) 341-4787. Orange Hall Theater is located in Orange Hall, which is located at the intersection of Wawayanda and Grandview Avenues in Middletown, NY. The theater is universally accessible.
