ALA Notable Children's Books Banquet
On Wednesday, May 3 the Education Department will host its 7th Annual American Library Association Notable Children's Books Banquet.
This entertaining and informative evening will highlight the best books of 2016 for children (ages infant to 14 years) with presentations by Randall Enos, Youth Services Consultant for RCLS and children's librarian Julie Baxter.
The program begins promptly at 4:30 p.m. in the Rowley Center for Science and Engineering's Gerry Forum (RCSE 010). Sign-in and book browsing start at 4 p.m. but pre-registration is required. The $15 fee includes a delicious catered dinner and dessert. Current Education Department students are eligible for a discount.
Registration forms are available by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or stopping at the Education Department in Bio-Tech Room 254. Completed registration forms with payment are due April 27. Please join us!
