Morrison Hall
Seashell Floral Arrangement
Orange County Community College received a special bouquet in celebration of its 50th anniversary. It was packaged in a huge crate labeled fragile and sent by Clifford Morrison. When the crate was opened, no one could believe what they saw. It was an arrangement of flowers made from seashells that had been gathered over a 20-year period from travels Mrs. Morrison and her late husband, Eugene, had made around the world. The mass composition in Victorian style took more than 2 1/2 years to make. It rests in an alcove in the stately mansion's parlor inside the front door on South Street in Middletown.
