I’ve been given opportunities here that I would not have gotten at other colleges. I could have gained acting experience in local theaters, but SUNY Orange gave me the educational stepping stone that will set me apart from other actors. I’m grateful for the many wonderful experiences I’ve had here. I can’t wait to walk across the stage and receive my degree. (STEVE) I’m convinced the name SUNY Orange on my resume helped me get my job as an emergency room nurse. I was in the Marines for 10 years, and the professors at SUNY Orange were tougher than my superiors in the Marines sometimes. They pushed me to do well, and expected me to do well. They’ve all been nurses, which means my education wasn’t just out of a book – it came from the real world. And that’s important to me, but its more important to each and every patient I serve now. (Announcer) Since 1950, SUNY Orange has been meeting the educational and professional needs of our community.
