Our office is located on the second floor of the Shepard Center and our 
services are free of charge. A detailed list of services available is outlined in 
our brochure which is also in your orientation packet. We do want you to be 
especially aware of the following insurance information. 

 

All students are covered by an accident insurance policy and all full-time 
students are covered by a limited, additional sickness benefit for a $9 per 
semester fee. Insurance information, brochures and claim forms are 
available in our office or at www.studentplanscenter.com 

 

This SUNY Orange student policy with Commercial Travelers acts as a 
secondary policy for those students who already have a Primary health 
insurer. 

 

For those students with no other Health Insurance, this becomes their 
primary insurer. 

 

If you go to a Medical Provider and need to use your insurance, you must 
show your Insurance Identification Card. 

 

Please stop by our office or call us for more information about accident and 
sickness insurance. Students are requested to come to health services to file 
an incident report should you have an accident and need to make a claim.
