THE GREAT EGG HUNT

At 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. each day clues are posted at the Information Desk in the Shepard Student Center and the Tower Building, Cafeteria relating to the location of three eggs that are gidden somewhere on either campus. Find an egg to claim a great prize basket.

This hands-on wildlife display features hissing cockroaches, tarantulas, chinchillas, hedgehogs, snakes, frogs, hairless rats, alligators, tropical birds, armadillos, tortoises and snakes. Students can also hold animals for one-of-a-kind photo opportunities. Students also have the opportunity to meet Mindy, the last working organ grinder monkey in the world. The licensed and knowledgeable trainers speak about the exciting career of working with exotic animals and the pros and cons of having them as pets.

spray can art

Stop by and see the artist put on a show of the unique art style called "Spray Can Art." They will produce 5x7 paintings at the rate of one painting every 3 to 5 minutes, and then present them to currently enrolled credit students. Done on poster board with a spray can, the artist uses plastic bags, paper, pot lids, and a putty knife to manipulate the paint. It's a show in itself!
