Eligibility Requirements

Student must:

be an Orange County resident attending an Orange County High School
register as a full-time student at SUNY Orange
be ranked in the top 10% of high school class or have a high school cumulative grade point average of 90 or better
show involvement in extracurricular activities in high school or in community service

Complete the 2008/2009 FAFSA on-line at www.fafsa.ed.gov (scholarship application will not be considered unless the entire financial aid process has been completed)
submit a completed scholarship application
submit a class rank form to high school guidance counselor for completion
submit two high school faculty recommendation forms
All forms from student, guidance counselor and high school faculty must be received at the SUNY Orange Financial Aid Office by May 1, 2008

The College’s Committee on Scholarship and Financial Assistance will review the applications and make recommendations to the College President for final decision
Students will be notified by mid-June, 2008
