SUNY Orange makes it easy with Instant Admissions
MIDDLETOWN SUNY Orange is starting its spring Instant Admissions program, which remains in effect now until Jan. 16.
Any student who comes in with a completed application and the required $30 application fee will have the opportunity to be instantly admitted to SUNY Orange. An admissions counselor will guide students through the steps in the admissions process. Students should bring any prior college records (official or unofficial) to find out if they will need to take a placement assessment; this will determine which classes they need to take and which they can forego.
Spring classes begin Tuesday, Jan. 20. Registration is ongoing until classes begin, but registering now means better class availability. Classes are as low as $110 per credit hour.
Newer academic programs include Industrial Laboratory Technology, a program designed for students who are interested in working in food, computer, and chemistry labs; and Information Technology, for students who are interested in careers in e-commerce, database technologies and other high-technology industries.
Programs remain strong in fields like our health professions and traditional academics, as well as in our transfer programs for students interested in furthering their education at four-year schools.
