Angel Help for Students
ORIENTATION - It is recommended that all students complete the SLN Student Orientation found on the Angel Home Page.

This orientation course is self-paced and will provide hands-on experience in using all the aspects of Angel.

ASK YOUR INSTRUCTOR - If you need help working within your Angel course, your first step should be contacting your instructor. Good communication between student and teacher will help to assure a good experience in your course.

HELP FROM SLN - The SUNY Learning Network (SLN) provides a toll-free number that students can call to get help with using the Angel system.
Telephone
Call the SLN HelpDesk directly during office hours (see below) at 1-800-875-6269 (toll-free within the United States) or 1-518-320-1889 (direct).
- Monday through Thursday - 8:00AM to 9:00PM (Eastern time zone)
- Friday - 8:00AM to 5:00PM
- Saturday - 1:00PM to 5:00PM
- Sunday - 1:00PM to 9:00PM
You can send an email 24 Hours per day, 7 days per week to slnsupport@itec.suny.edu Please provide the following information in your email:
- Your full name, the name of your college and your Angel username.
- Your computer’s operating system (i.e. Windows XP, Mac OS X, etc.).
- The name and version number of your web browser software (i.e. Mozilla Firefox 2, Internet Explorer 6, etc.).
- A detailed description of the technical problem and the specific web page where it is occurring. If occurring within a course, also include the course name and number.
- If appropriate, also provide the name of the software (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) being used for your learning activity.
The SLN HelpDesk may close during holidays. When the office is closed, please send an email to slnsupport@itec.suny.edu
