Help for Students
Any help that you require with Angel will be provided by the SUNY Learning Network (SLN). Please do not contact the SUNY Orange help desk with problems in Angel as they will have you contact the SLN Help desk.
You can send an email 24 Hours per day, 7 days per week to Helpdesk@sln.suny.edu. Please provide the following information in your email:
- Your full name, the name of your college and your Angel username.
- Your computer’s operating system (i.e. Windows XP, Mac OS X, etc.).
- The name and version number of your web browser software (i.e. Mozilla Firefox 2, Internet Explorer 6, etc.).
- A detailed description of the technical problem and the specific web page where it is occurring. If occurring within a course, also include the course name.
- If appropriate, also provide the name of the software (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) being used for your learning activity.

- Monday through Thursday - 8:00AM to 9:00PM (Eastern time zone)
- Friday - 8:00AM to 5:00PM
- Saturday - 1:00PM to 5:00PM
- Sunday - 1:00PM to 9:00PM
The SLN HelpDesk may close during holidays. When the office is closed, please send an email to Helpdesk@sln.suny.edu.
Please Note
The SLN HelpDesk cannot help you with specific questions regarding courses or groups in which you may be enrolled: for inquiries regarding materials in those courses or groups, please contact your instructor or group leader.
