Each class is taught by New York State licensed and certified Occupational Therapists in a safe, interactive, fun and nurturing environment.
Schedule
Your child will attend eight sessions over a four-week period on the Middletown Campus.
We offer four sections that are broken down by the following grades:

Parents' Comments (2007 & 2008 Programs)
"Jeremy's handwriting is amazing! He loved going every time, felt confident about the material."
"Extremely beneficial...from the very first session there was information provided that I had not gotten before re: ways on checking on a child's "engine" etc., and info on vision."
"Amanda just loved going to college and particularly enjoyed all the sensory toys/activities in the room."
"Her confidence & self esteem improved in the short time she attended the program."
"Extremely helpful for parents. Enjoyable for the children. The course is "holistic". It encompasses technical instruction, physical/wellness instruction. The Q/A session is awesome."
"The SMART Program accomplished a lot in the two hours each day. Parents were given so many handouts on techniques, food, sleep, etc. that can be used to help the children. The ALERT program was a big help."
"I thank you for all that you have done for my child. The confidence you gave him is priceless!"
"Lucca loved his teachers, going to 'college' and looked forward to going to classes."
"My daughter looked forward to going each time, meeting new friends and loved Celeste and Katie. They reinforced certain skills and gave her new ways to deal with anxiety and sensory issues."
"Keep the program going! The tuition was reasonable for children not eligible for services over the summer. These kids need all the help that is available to them. Gillian loved it!"
"I was especially impressed with the different soothing techniques that we were shown in dealing with my child's anxiety, as well as the techniques for redirecting a child who struggles with focusing on tasks."
"Of all the programs I have ever signed Sean up for, he enjoyed and learned more in this one than any other. I'm so glad we enrolled him. It gave him a little taste of what Kindergarten homework will be like."
"Celeste and Katie are far beyond outstanding. Sean responded so well to them. He talks about them all of the time. They are lovely to talk to and spend so much time explaining what they did in class that day. Sean has learned so much in such a short time and I credit Celeste and Katie. They are fantastic."
"Niko has improved in many areas, specifically in handwriting, thank you."
"The OT instructors couldn't be nicer or more patient with the children. They were most helpful to the parents in regards to each individual child's needs."
