ARTICULATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN ORANGE COUNTY COMMUNITY COLLEGE AND COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY IN THE CITY OF NEW YORK NEW YORK, N.Y. 10027 SCHOOL OF GENERAL STUDIES OFFICE OF ADMISSIONS ARTICULATION PLAN WITH Orange County Community College (1) Purpose: To facilitate the movement of, and provide financial aid for superior students from Orange County Community College to the School of General Studies. (2) Eligibility: Students enrolled in the Orange County Community College liberal arts and sciences general curriculum programs leading to the A.A. and A.S. degrees are eligible. (3) Required Grade Point Average: Students must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale during 64 points of study at Orange County Community College. (4) Recommendation of the Dean: All students accepted under the plan must be supported by a recommendation from the Dean or his representative at Orange County Community College. (5) Financial Aid: Students accepted into General Studies under this plan will be eligible for up to $1000. scholarship per term for four terms of B- or better full-time study, depending upon their need as determined by the General Studies Financial Aid Officer. Student loans and aid in obtaining other outside funds will be provided as available. (6) Admission: The number of students to be admitted each academic year (in September, January or May) will be determined jointly by the Deans of General Studies and Orange Co. Comm. College in March of the Preceding Year. (7) Transfer Credit: Transfer credit will be granted for liberal arts courses completed with a grade of "C-" or better, up to a maximum of 64 points. This plan shall in no way limit the movement of other students from Orange Co. Comm. College to General Studies provided they meet the admissions requirements of the School. This plan may be terminated by either party six months after written notification is sent to the other. In such a case Orange Co.
