The College’s 22nd annual Holiday Open House will be open from 1 to 5 p.m. each day. Admission is free. Volunteers will be on hand to assist visitors along this self-guided tour.

Visitors to Morrison Hall those four days will see a selection of their all-time favorite holiday movies come to life in each of the stately mansion’s five first-floor rooms. This year’s decorations will feature “Home Alone 2” (salon), “A Christmas Carol” (music room), “Elf” (foyer), “Polar Express” (library) and “Holiday Inn” (dining room).

Holiday performances by the SUNY Orange Madrigal Singers and the Chamber Ensemble will augment the Open House. The Madrigal Singers will showcase their talents at 3 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 10 while the Chamber Ensemble will perform at 6 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 17.

Donations will be accepted for the Peter Alberghini Inspirational Scholarship. Alberghini, a long-time SUNY Orange employee and advocate for Orange County residents through education, civic work and mental health programs, originated the Holiday Open House as a way for the local community to enjoy Morrison Hall.

The Holiday Open House is jointly sponsored by the College, the SUNY Orange Foundation and the Garden Lovers.
