Admissions Staff to Outline Academic Degree Programs, Support Services, Extracurricular Activities

PHOTO: Newburgh CampusMIDDLETOWN, N.Y. – Students interested in SUNY Orange’s Newburgh campus can learn more about the programs, services and activities offered there when the College hosts its Newburgh Campus Preview Day on Friday, Nov. 11 in Kaplan Hall.

Sessions will be held at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., with campus tours to be provided following each presentation. Financial aid, scholarship guidelines and admissions information will be provided as well. Courses for SUNY Orange’s newest degree program, Public Health, are now being offered on the Newburgh campus. The coming Spring semester will also see a variety of new scheduling options, classes, daycare choices and technology available to students as well.

Among the College’s 40 degree and certificate programs, there are seven that can be completed in their entirety at the Newburgh campus. Those programs include business management, criminal justice, criminal justice-police, human services, individual studies, liberal arts (humanities and social science) and nursing.

SUNY Orange also offers a full complement of student support services and students are able to join a variety of clubs and organizations.

Kaplan Hall is located at the intersection of Grand and First streets, with parking available in the Kaplan Hall parking garage, accessible from First Street.
