The College’s 21st annual Holiday Open House will be open from 1 to 5 p.m. each day. Admission is free. Volunteers will be on hand to assist visitors along this self-guided tour.

Visitors to Morrison Hall those four days will be able to view the grand mansion’s five first-floor rooms each decorated in its own Victorian theme: “A Lady’s Parlor” (salon), “Entertainment in the Music Room” (music room); “The Children’s Room” (foyer), “Victorian Splendor” (dining room) and “The Elegant Victorian Gentlemen’s Room” (library).

Holiday performances by the SUNY Orange Madrigal Singers and the Chamber Ensemble will augment the Open House. The Chamber Ensemble will perform at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 5, while the Madrigal Singers will showcase their talents at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 12.

Donations will be accepted for the Peter Alberghini Inspirational Scholarship. Alberghini, a long-time SUNY Orange employee and advocate for Orange County residents through education, civic work and mental health programs, originated the Holiday Open House as a way for the local community to enjoy Morrison Hall.

The Holiday Open House is jointly sponsored by the College, the SUNY Orange Foundation and the Garden Lovers.
