Preedom, who was administered the oath of office by Board chair Helen Ullrich, was elected to the post by his fellow students and will serve a one-year term.

As the student Trustee, Preedom will represent the College’s nearly 6,000 students at Board meetings and other selected College events. Preedom earned a cyber security degree from SUNY Orange this past May and expects to complete a computer networking degree in May 2016.

He is also serving as a student intern in the College’s nursing simulation laboratory on the Middletown campus.

His one-year term will conclude at the Board’s June 2016 meeting.
