Fun Family Events Will be Held on Middletown Campus Alumni Green and Inside New Rowley Center

MIDDLETOWN, N.Y. -- SUNY Orange will host a fun-filled Family Day with an array of family friendly events and activities from Noon to 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 8 on the Alumni Green of the College’s Middletown campus and in the new Rowley Center for Science and Engineering. Family Day is part of the College’s Homecoming and Hall of Fame Weekend.

Alumni and community members are invited to attend Family Day. Admission is free. Student groups will provide demonstrations and host additional activities for children, including face painting, animal mask making, sensory processing activities, make your own play dough and finger paint, finger printing and a miniature obstacle course.

The Colts’ women’s basketball team will offer basketball drills and scrimmages in the Edward A. Diana Physical Education Center.

Tours of the new Rowley Center will be available, along with student-led tours of the Middletown campus that are set for 12:15 and 1:15 p.m. The Morrison Lab School childcare facility will be open for tours and will feature a children’s obstacle course. Cider and donuts will be provided on the ground floor of the Rowley Center courtesy of the SUNY Orange Alumni Relations staff and volunteers.

In addition, SUNY Orange will waive the application fee for any students who apply to SUNY Orange during Family Day, and the Admissions staff will be on hand to answer questions and provide information to prospective students.
