The Class of 2013 included Walter Cawein ’57, Susan Deer ’71, Lois Hayes ’79, Richard E. Morse ’58, Achilles J. “Kelly” Rossi ’53 and John Scanlan ’73. This year’s class brings the total number of people enshrined in the Colt Athletic Hall of Fame to 16.

Saturday's induction ceremony was part of the College's Homecoming and Reunion Weekend, which included a "Toast to Old Orange" alumni reception/Student Senate reunion on Friday evening and Family Day activities Saturday afternoon.

During their playing days, the six members of the Class of 2013 represented eight sports, including soccer, basketball, cross country and wrestling on the men’s side along with basketball, tennis, volleyball and softball for women. Two of the inductees--Deer and Hayes--also coached the Colts’ women’s basketball squad at different times while Deer also served a stint as the College’s athletic director.

Among the inductees were one national champion, one all-American, one national Wrestler of the Year, a regional MVP, three all-region selections, and three SUNY Orange Athletes of the Year. As performers, this group set three College records and advanced to the national tournament in three different sports. The two coaches guided the Colts to numerous regional and national tournament appearances.
