The event will be targeted to students who may be contemplating beginning or continuing their college education in the fall. It is an ideal opportunity for local high school seniors who are still investigating their college options for the coming semester, as well has those high school juniors looking to gather advance information to supplement their early research on potential college choices.

Faculty and staff members will be on hand to discuss the College’s complete array of academic degree programs, with specific emphasis on the seven degree programs SUNY Orange presently offers entirely at the Newburgh campus. The College will also outline the transfer and career possibilities students enjoy following graduation, along with providing information on financial aid, scholarship guidelines and the admission process.

Students at SUNY Orange also enjoy many extra-curricular endeavors, and athletics and student activities representatives will have information regarding many of the sports programs, clubs and organizations at the College. SUNY Orange also operates a challenging academic Honors Program for highly motivated and talented students, and enjoys membership in the Hudson Valley Educational Consortium, which affords SUNY Orange students the chance to complete first responder and sustainability-related degree programs offered by either SUNY Ulster, SUNY Rockland or SUNY Sullivan.

SUNY Orange administers nearly 40 academic majors, boasts the finest community college student transfer success rate in the State University of New York system and provides diverse educational opportunities to help students meet their goals.

Tours of the Newburgh campus will be provided and light refreshments will be available adjacent to the Great Room. Kaplan Hall is located at the intersection of Grand and First streets in Newburgh, with ample parking available in the building’s parking garage (enter off of First Street).
