Students, Staff Reminded that College No Longer Printing Course Schedule Bulletins, Course Availability Accessible in Online Database or Downloadable PDF Desk Reference

This is a reminder that registration for the Spring 2012 semester and the two Summer 2012 sessions will begin on Monday, Nov. 14.

The College also wants to alert/remind students and staff that effective with the opening of registration for the Spring/Summer 2012 academic periods, SUNY Orange will no longer print its Credit Course Schedule bulletin.

Students, faculty and staff can access and research available courses through the searchable online database (either on the public web site or via Banner at MySUNYOrange)

Advisors will be provided with a hard-copy printout of the courses in the form of a Desk Reference that students will be able to use when they meet/visit with their advisor.

Students may also view the Desk Reference online by downloading or opening the pdf file. However, students are reminded that any courses changes (additions, deletions, time or location changes) made following the Nov. 8 “as of” date in the Desk Reference will ONLY be reflected in the online database and will not be shown in the Desk Reference.

Therefore, it is not advisable to print the Desk Reference once registration has begun, but only to use it as a handy online reference to prepare for the registration process.

If you have any questions or concerns, you may contact your advisor, the Advising and Counseling staff, or the Records and Registration Office.

In addition to the links above, you may also access information at the Course Schedules page.

The bullets below will help you determine which class schedule source may be best for you:

  • If you want an overview of available courses, then access the online Desk Reference pdf file (accurate as of Nov. 8) on the Course Schedules web site.
  • If you are a SUNY Orange student with an assigned "A" number, then access the online searchable database in Banner through MySUNYOrange.
  • If you are a prospective student, community member, or a student from another college, then access the online searchable database on the College's website.
