Concert at Paramount Theatre to Include Compositions by Wagner, Brahms and Dvořák

MIDDLETOWN, N.Y. – The SUNY Orange Community Orchestra will feature the music of renowned Romantic Period composers Richard Wagner, Johannes Brahms and Antonín Dvořák during its final concert of the 2010-11 academic year, slated for 8 p.m., Saturday, May 7 at Middletown’s Paramount Theatre.

Under the direction of Hilarie Clark Moore, the orchestra will perform the overture from Wagner’s “Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg,” Brahms’ “Variations on a Theme by Joseph Haydn” and Dvořák’s “Symphony No. 8 in G Major, Op. 88.” General admission to the concert is $5. SUNY Orange students and active duty military personnel will be admitted free.
