MIDDLETOWN, N.Y. – Due to the overwhelming response from the community regarding this evening's Kaplan Hall dedication ceremony (March 24), the College will be streaming the program to various locations throughout the building as well as making it viewable live via the internet.

Responses from invited guests have surpassed the seating capacity of the Great Room in Kaplan Hall, so guests will be encouraged the settle into one of several classrooms or gather near two big-screen televisions to watch the event.

The formal program will include speeches from a selection of local elected officials and dignitaries, including Congressman Maurice Hinchey, State Senator William Larkin, County Executive Edward Diana and Newburgh Mayor Nick Valentine. A SUNY Orange student (Joel Woodley), a College Trustee (Gert Mokotoff) and a representative of the Kaplan Family Charitable Foundations will also address the audience.

The event begins with a cocktail hour at 5 p.m., followed by the formal program at 6 p.m. During the cocktail hour, a slideshow featuring photos of the construction process will be viewable via the stream.
