College to Showcase Academic Programs, Student Services and Extra-Curricular Activities

MIDDLETOWN, N.Y. – To assist those prospective students who are assessing their college options, SUNY Orange will highlight its academic degree programs, student support services and student activities during its annual Fall Admissions Open House, scheduled from 5 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 14 in the George F. Shepard Center in Middletown.

Faculty and staff members will be on hand to discuss the College’s many academic programs, as well as transfer and career possibilities students enjoy following graduation from SUNY Orange. Financial aid, scholarship guidelines and admissions forms will be provided as well. Information on the College’s new cybersecurity degree, as well as SUNY Orange’s participation in the Hudson Valley Educational Consortium, will also be available.

Students at SUNY Orange also enjoy many extra-curricular endeavors, and Athletics and Student Activities representatives will have information regarding many of the sports programs, clubs and organizations at the College. SUNY Orange also operates a challenging academic Honors Program for highly motivated and talented students.

SUNY Orange offers nearly 40 academic majors, boasts one of the finest student transfer success rates in the State University of New York system and provides diverse educational opportunities to help students meet their goals.

Tours of the College’s Middletown campus will be provided and light refreshments will be available in the Shepard Center’s Fireplace Lounge. The Shepard Student Center is located at the intersection of South and Bennett streets. Parking is available nearby.
