Throughout her tenure at the College, Halpern has committed herself to enlightening students about their capacity for continued growth and guiding them toward realizing their full potential.

Most recently, she has worked tirelessly to bring “simulation technology” to the College’s nursing curriculum. “Life-like” simulation manikins allow educators to use current technology in implementing training scenarios that cover virtually every potential medical situation, providing students with “real life” experiences before they acquire proficiency in the clinical setting.

Halpern possesses 37 years of clinical nursing experience. She earned her nursing diploma from Marcy State Hospital School of Nursing (Utica, N.Y.) and her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Mount Saint Mary College. She holds a master’s degree from Mercy College.

He is widely known for his enthusiastic teaching style, commitment to fairness in the classroom and dedication to challenging every student to reach his or her potential.

In keeping with the evolution of technology in the business sector, Stack has “web enhanced” his accounting, business and finance courses and teaches some classes as fully developed distance learning offerings. Stack acquired a bachelor of arts degree in economics and mathematics from SUNY Potsdam and a bachelor of science degree in management (accounting) from East Stroudsburg University. He earned his master’s degree in business administration from the University of Scranton.
