College Will Conduct Campus Tours During Local High School Students’ Spring Break Week

MIDDLETOWN, N.Y. – Those Orange County high school students who may be staying close to home during their upcoming Spring Break in April are invited to tour SUNY Orange’s Middletown campus as the College expands its regularly scheduled Admissions workshop program during the week of April 13-17.

For high school seniors who may be considering enrolling at SUNY Orange for the Fall semester, or high school juniors looking to get a jump start on their college selection process, campus tours are a great opportunity to interact with current students, observe the campus, and investigate classrooms, facilities and laboratories.

The Admissions staff regularly holds small group workshops in both Middletown and Newburgh each week throughout the academic year. Middletown workshops are held in the Third Floor Conference Room of the George F. Shepard Student Center, 115 South St., while Newburgh workshops take place in the Tower Building, located at One Washington Center.

Those April workshops, for Middletown only, that will include tours are: Tuesday, April 14 at 3 p.m. (tour following at 4 p.m.); Wednesday, April 15 at 6 p.m. (tour preceding at 5 p.m.); and Friday, April 17 at 1 p.m. (tour following at 2 p.m.).

SUNY Orange offers nearly 40 academic programs designed for either career preparation or transfer to a four-year college or university. Two-year degree programs culminate in the awarding of an Associate in Science (A.S.), an Associate in Arts (A.A.) or an Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree. One-year certificate programs are also available.
