Tabbed as Assistant Director of Admissions; Joins Staff Following Two Years at Nyack College

PHOTO: Roberto FigueroaMIDDLETOWN, N.Y. – SUNY Orange has named Roberto Figueroa as assistant director of admissions. Figueroa arrives at SUNY Orange after having served as associate director of admissions at Nyack College, overseeing admission to Nyack’s master of business administration program.

A New Windsor, N.Y., resident, Figueroa will be involved in every facet of SUNY Orange’s admission and student recruitment programs. Reviewing applications, executing community outreach initiatives and conducting admissions events will be a few of his many responsibilities.

Figueroa earned a bachelor of arts degree from SUNY New Paltz in 1997 and is presently pursuing a master of business administration degree at Nyack College. He is fluent in English and Spanish, and brings a diverse background of sales and leadership experience to his new post.

“We are extremely pleased to have Roberto on staff and are confident he will be a great representative of SUNY Orange,” said Michael Roe, the College’s director of admissions and student recruitment. “We were impressed with his work at Nyack and expect he will be equally successful in conveying SUNY Orange’s many strengths and opportunities to prospective students.”
