Part-Time Teaching Openings Exist in a Variety of Academic Disciplines

MIDDLETOWN, N.Y. – SUNY Orange will host an adjunct instructor recruitment night from 5 to 7 p.m., Monday, Dec. 8 in the Fireplace Lounge of the George F. Shepard Student Center, 115 South Street, Middletown.


newburgh buttonQualified community members who are interested in teaching at the college level on a part-time basis during the upcoming Spring semester are invited to attend. Interested individuals will have the opportunity to learn about the College, meet academic administrators and discuss teaching openings. Applicants must supply a current resume. A master’s degree and/or academic experience is required for most disciplines.


The College is looking for adjunct instructors in the following disciplines: nursing, physical education, the arts; communication; psychology, sociology, writing; philosophy, history, anthropology, web development and networking, physics, astronomy, chemistry, nutrition and introductory biology.
