College Staff to Conduct November Sessions to Assist Prospective Students

MIDDLETOWN, N.Y. – SUNY Orange will conduct a series of special pre-admission workshops during November for students who have applied, or are planning to apply, to six selected Health Professions academic degree programs at the College.

These sessions are designed to prepare prospective students for the unique admissions criteria, specific admission application procedures, earlier deadlines, fees and certain health screenings required for SUNY Orange’s Health Professions programs. Attendees will also learn about program requirements, certification requirements and career options, as well as gain insight into the rigorous academic curriculum of each respective program.

All students who desire to enroll in one of these six selected SUNY Orange Health Professions academic programs must attend an orientation session as part of the admission process.

All sessions will be held in the Bio-Tech Building on the Middletown campus and are scheduled as follows:

• Physical Therapist Assistant, 5 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 11, Room 103
• Occupational Therapy Assistant, 5 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 12, Room 204
• Radiologic Technology, 6:30 p.m., Monday, Nov. 17, Room 308
• Nursing, 5 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 19, Room 207
• Dental Hygiene, 5 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 19, Room 204
• Medical Laboratory Technology, 3:15 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 20, Room 313
