Students Eyeing Summer and Fall Enrollment are Encouraged to Attend

MIDDLETOWN, N.Y. – For new students who may be eyeing enrollment in one of its rapidly approaching summer academic sessions, or for those making plans to register for Fall semester classes, SUNY Orange will hold its annual Spring Admissions Open House from 5 to 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 13 in the George F. Shepard Student Center.

This spring’s Open House is designed to give prospective students the information necessary to map their educational future, whether they will be first-time college students or former students looking to return to the classroom.

Faculty and staff members will be on hand to discuss the College’s many academic programs, as well as transfer and career possibilities students enjoy following graduation from SUNY Orange. Financial aid, scholarship and admissions forms and guidelines will be available as well.

Students at SUNY Orange also enjoy many extra-curricular endeavors, and Athletics and Student Activities representatives will have information regarding many of the sports programs, clubs and organizations at the College. SUNY Orange also operates a challenging Honors Program for highly motivated and talented students.

SUNY Orange offers nearly 40 academic majors, boasts one of the finest student transfer success rates in the State University of New York system and provides diverse educational opportunities to help students meet their goals.

Tours of the College’s Middletown campus will be provided and light refreshments will be available in the Shepard Center’s Fireplace Lounge. The Shepard Student Center is located at the intersection of South and Bennett streets. Parking is available nearby.
