FREE HIV SCREENING AVAILABLE TO STUDENTS, FACULTY, STAFF

Testing Offered in Conjunction with New York State Department of Health

MIDDLETOWN, N.Y. – As a service to its students, faculty and staff, SUNY Orange will be offering free, confidential HIV screenings periodically throughout the Spring semester in the College’s Health Services Office. Testing will be conducted by a representative from the New York State Department of Health and results will be available within 10 minutes of completion of the screening.

Those interested in receiving a free OraQuick Rapid HIV screening may make an appointment by calling Health Services at (845) 341-4870. Walk-in appointments will be accepted, but reservations are highly encouraged. Screenings will be offered between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on the following days: Monday, Jan. 28; Tuesday, Feb. 19; Monday, March 10; Wednesday, April 2 (in conjunction with the College’s annual Wellness Fair); and Tuesday, April 29.

All appointments are anonymous. Those who schedule a screening will be given an appointment time and issued an identification number that they will use in lieu of their name.
