MIDDLETOWN, N.Y. – A full day of activities is planned for SUNY Orange graduates and their families, including a men’s basketball game, a college update by President Bill Richards, a student-faculty play and a selection of faculty-led demonstrations, when the College hosts its annual Alumni Day on Saturday, Jan. 27, 2007.

All Alumni are invited to “come back to campus” to mingle with former classmates, learn about the current status of the College and hear the latest developments regarding SUNY Orange’s future, which includes campus improvements in Middletown and the upcoming branch campus project in Newburgh.

Alumni Day will begin with a brunch at the George F. Shepard Student Center, followed by a presentation from Dr. Richards at 12:15 p.m. The men’s basketball game will pit SUNY Orange against Nassau Community College at 1 p.m. in the Physical Education Center.

From 3:15 to 4:30 p.m., faculty members will be offering clinics, demonstrations and presentations, which will precede an Alumni Pasta Party at 4:30 p.m. in Shepard Student Center. The busy agenda will conclude with a pair of two-person, one-act plays performed by student MaryLee Shorr and faculty member Max Schaefer at 6 p.m. in Orange Hall Theater.
