Writing Lab
The Writing Lab at the Newburgh Campus is located on the second floor of Kaplan Hall. All students registered in SUNY Orange classes are invited to come in for assistance with their writing skills. An instructor and professional tutors provide one-to-one feedback on parallel assignments which are completely written in the Writing Lab. We serve not only those enrolled in writing courses but students in Business, Social Science, Criminal Justice or any other academic discipline requiring writing. We do NOT work on class assignments; instead, we help you to write better class assignments.
Writing Lab hours change from semester to semester. Please be sure to check postings throughout the building and outside the lab for current schedules. Students may make appointments to meet with a Writing Lab staff member, by signing up on a clip board located at the lab's entrance.
