Tutorial Services
The Newburgh Campus Tutorial Center is located in Kaplan Hall Room 220. The tutoring center is one of the best resources available to our students. For a fee of only $30 per semester (or $15 per half semester), students may receive up to five hours a week of one-on-one help with their college courses.
Tutors can reinforce what you have learned in class and answer your questions in a relaxed atmosphere where you can feel comfortable asking questions. If you can’t do a math problem, the tutor can explain how. If you are having problems with English or writing courses, a tutor will work with you on your skills. Tutoring is available on request for most subject areas and courses being taught at the Newburgh Campus.
Feel free to stop by any time to pick up an application (to become a tutor or to be tutored) and ask questions. The tutorial center can also be reached via telephone, at (845)341-9504).
