Welcome to the Newburgh Extension Center! We're located in the Key Bank building at the eastern end of Orange County to offer you high-quality, affordable education a little closer to home. At the Center you´ll meet with dedicated staff to help you identify the college courses and programs that best suit your personal, academic, and employment needs. Come visit us! We´re committed to doing everything we can to help you.

The Newburgh Extension Center (NEC) houses 17 classrooms; four computer labs; two technology-training labs; centers for reading and writing assistance; two science labs used for biology, chemistry and physics; an ESL lab; a tutorial center; and library services; as well as a dining facility. In addition, the NEC hosts a series of non-credit courses and programs in the area of workforce development. NEC also houses the Liberty Partnership Program, a NY state-funded pre-collegiate program that offers tutoring, counseling, workforce preparation, mentoring, cultural enrichment and parental involvement activities to over 225 junior and senior high school youth in the Newburgh Enlarged City School District. Next door, NEC's "Y" building houses Kindercollege, an educational childcare program for children ages 2-5, as well as physical education courses. We also offer a free shuttle bus to the Middletown campus.
